We recognize that this school year has brought significant changes and stresses. We at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University would like to extend our admiration and congratulations to you all for having adapted to an unprecedented situation.
As you consider your plans for the future, we want to let you know that Grenfell Campus, Memorial University is still accepting applications for the Fall 2020 semester.
Grenfell Campus is characterized by small classes, exceptional personalized education, and, in being committed to accessibility, offers the country's most affordable university education. We are here to help you with every step towards achieving your educational goals, all while staying close to home.
While there are still many unknowns, we do know that classes will be delivered remotely (there may be some exceptions). We will continue to provide updated information as it becomes available.
We are committed to continuing our outstanding Grenfell learning experience and to providing all the support you need to succeed as a university student.
For students graduating in Newfoundland and Labrador this year, the university is waiving the regular undergraduate general admission overall average requirement of 70 per cent and will be accepting all applicants who graduate and obtain passing grades in the required subjects for admission as outlined in the university Calendar.
Simple steps to apply
Apply now and indicate Grenfell Campus as your campus of choice. The basic undergraduate application should include the following items:
- Grenfell undergraduate application for admission/readmission
- Official transcript(s) and other supporting documents
- Non-refundable application fee ($60 CAD for all applicants; $120 CAD for international applicants & Canadian students who have attended a post-secondary institution outside of NL)
If you are a current high school student from Newfoundland and Labrador, your final grades will be sent automatically. Otherwise, you will need to have your official transcripts sent to our admissions office.
Submit your application
An application summary and credit card receipt (see link for a sample) will be issued upon successful submission of an application. Please note that the credit card payment feature on the web application is available only from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. (Newfoundland time), Sunday through Friday. It is unavailable on Saturday. If you are unable to apply online, contact the Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about your options.
Bookmark and save the link to the application, and note your login information, so that you can return to monitor the progress of your application after it is submitted.
Apply for on-campus housing. First-year undergraduate students are guaranteed a room on campus, if you apply by the March 1 deadline (some conditions may apply). Apply online and pay the $20 application fee.
