Weather
It is said that you can experience four seasons in one day in Newfoundland and Labrador. The local weather is governed chiefly by two ocean currents: the Labrador Current from the north and the Gulf Stream from the south. Depending on the temperature of the currents and the direction of the wind, the weather may be cool or warm, wet or clear. Summers are warm but not too hot – in July daytime temperatures usually range between 21 and 27 °C. Winters brings a lot of snow, with temperatures ranging from 0 to -20 °C.
