In person means a personal appointment in the office of the Writing Instructional Assistant where you discuss how to get started on a paper, come up with ideas for a topic, ask specific questions regarding the assignment instructions and citations. Book an appointment in the self-serve online schedule.  If you are taking a Grenfell Campus course, select Writing Appointments.  If you are enrolled in nursing courses at WRSON, select Nursing Writing (WRSON) Appointments to book your appointments.

PaperDrop means no attendance required! If you do not want to attend a virtual meeting or in-person meeting and prefer to get feedback directly on your document, book an appointment in the self-serve online schedule.  If you are taking a Grenfell Campus course, select Writing Appointments.  If you are enrolled in nursing courses at WRSON, select Nursing Writing (WRSON) Appointments to book your appointments.

Virtual Meeting  a virtual meeting is best suited for conversations; for instance, this includes question-and-answer type meetings, discussing how to get started on a paper, come up with ideas for a topic, or if you have specific questions regarding the assignment instructions, or how to cite something. Book your appointment in the self-serve online schedule and a Teams meeting invitation will be sent to you prior to your appointment.  If you are taking a Grenfell Campus course, select Writing Appointments.  If you are enrolled in nursing courses at WRSON, select Nursing Writing (WRSON) Appointments to book your appointments.

Extra Help at Grenfell Campus!  If the schedule is full, you can email byoung@grenfell.mun.ca to be connected with a writing peer tutor. Please keep in mind that same-day requests for help will be hard to fill—try to make your request with consideration of giving the tutor fair notice and giving yourself fair time to follow through on advice before a paper's deadline.

Math Assistance 

Math help appointments will be provided in a virtual meeting envrionment in Winter 2022 until public health protocols permit:

In person means a personal appointment in the office of the Math Instructional Assistant where you discuss and work on specic math problems. Book an appointment in the self-serve online schedule and select Math. 

Virtual Meeting can be booked via MyGrenfell (at this link) - you will need a grenfell.mun.ca username and password to log in.  Several hours before your appointment time, you will be sent (to your grenfell.mun.ca e-mail account) an invitation to join a private Teams meeting.  You must accept the meeting request in order to be able to attend.  Note: It is important to download the Teams App.
