Grenfell Campus provides a complementary Airport shuttle from Deer Lake airport to Grenfell campus, which is ONLY available during the Fall and Winter semester on Student Housing Moving dates. The airport shuttle will be available to students on January 3rd, 2024, regardless of your arrival time; however, you MUST complete the arrivals form in order to avail of this service. A Grenfell greeter will be at the airport at the moment of your arrival.

It is recommended that all new international students fill out the Grenfell arrivals form found below once you have all your travel documents ready including your visa/eTA, and/or a valid study permit, if applicable. The deadline to fill out the form and receive any arrival support is December 15th, 2023. If you have any questions about how to get these documents, please email international@grenfell.mun.ca
Students arriving on any other dates are responsible for arranging their own transportation, which can cost up to $85 CAD for a private taxi. We recommend carrying Canadian currency.
The closest airport to Grenfell Campus is Deer Lake Airport YDF. The St. John's airport is 700 KM away from the city of Corner Brook.
The official Student Housing move-in date is January 3rd, 10 am. If you are arriving on this date before 10 am and you have on-campus accommodations, you MUST fill out this form before December 15th in order for us to have your keys ready at the moment of your arrival. If you do not fill out this form before the above date, we cannot guarantee that your keys will be ready, and you will not be able to move in into your room until January 3rd, at 10:00 AM.
Filling out this form provides us with valuable information that will help us prepare for your arrival, including your arrival date/time and where you will live when you arrive in Corner Brook. It will also allow us to remain connected to keep each other updated with any changes to your arrival plans or process.
If you are traveling before January 3rd, you must arrange off-campus accommodations. Keep in mind that retail stores will be closed on January 1st, and campus will be closed from December 25th to January 2nd and will re-open on January 3rd.
You should be registered for courses for the winter semester before traveling, as you may be asked for proof of enrollment at the Canadian border. ESL students can provide their ESL acceptance letter.
Students who are going to the St. John's campus should not fill out this form. Please send an email to arrivals@mun.ca.

Welcome Kit

The International Office has two Welcome Kits available for sale for students who live on campus. The Welcome Kit will be in your room at the moment of your arrival:

Kit A:

The kit includes a pillow, bed sheets, a towel, and a Grenfell throw blanket for $56 CAD.

Kit B:

The kit includes a pillow, bed sheets, a towel, and a free secondhand blanket for $31 CAD.
