Kelly joined Grenfell Campus in June 2015. In her role with Student Services, she is responsible for a variety of duties, primarily providing support to Indigenous students at Grenfell Campus and educating the student body concerning the richness of Indigenous cultures at Grenfell Campus and the surrounding area. She is also tasked with assisting with the indigenization of the campus and liaising with local Indigenous communities and the St. John's campus.

In addition to her role here at Grenfell, she is actively engaged with her own local Mi'kmaw community, working on committees such as the Bay St. George Mi'kmaq Cultural Revival Committee which plans and executes the Bay St. George Powwow in Flat Bay each July.
