Arrival information for international students coming to Grenfell Campus
Arrivals
Students who are approved to Self Isolate at Grenfell Campus will arrive at Deer Lake (YDF) airport. New international students will be greeted at the airport. We will directly communicate with students about transportation to campus.
Getting here
The Deer
Lake Airport is about a 45 minute drive from Grenfell Campus. When you
arrive on campus, a Grenfell Campus Representative will greet you upon
arrival and show you to your room in our chalet apartment.
Your Home away from home
Your apartment contains a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and small living space.

Through consultations
with the Grenfell Arrivals Team, we'll work to ensure the apartment is
prepared with most of what you will need for your 14-day self isolation
period. It is essential that you do not leave your chalet under any
circumstances. You must contact the housing office
(grenfellhousing@grenfell.mun.ca) to request any items you need. There
will be some notes on the desk about the rules and regulations, how to
connect to the internet, how to use the phone, etc.

There are additional cleaning supplies in the chalet. It is recommended to give your chalet a cleaning once per day, as this will be your home for the next 14 days.
Our self-isolation support team will be in contact with you daily. They will be available to answer any questions, help with any concerns you have, or just be a person with whom you can talk. If you need anything during your stay, please feel free to ask.
