Grenfell Information Technology Services works to provide ongoing remote support to students, staff, and faculty; and is working through the increased demands on all IT services.

To support the increased demand, and ensure that service requests are properly received and prioritized; and to respect public health recommendations to minimize close contact, we are requesting your support for a modified service model at this time. IT Services will continue; however, we are asking people to use the following communication methods for IT support:

Grenfell and MUN password assistance:
If you don’t know your Grenfell password, call the service desk (639-2049), or email the service desk from your @mun email account for identity verification
If you know your Grenfell password, and want to change it, go to https://password.grenfell.mun.ca
To reset your MUN password (which is also your BrightSpace password) go to https://my.mun.ca and click “Can’t Login”. Follow the prompts
Access to Resources
Students, faculty, and staff are reminded of the following information with respect to accessing email and other related links
Sign in with your Grenfell email address and password
Links to related services and websites (ex. e-mail)
Access to some campus course websites
Sign in with your full Grenfell e-mail address and password
Grenfell e-mail, office applications online (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), OneDrive (data storage), Teams (collaboration)
Staff and Faculty currently have voicemail to email
Office 365 also provides for downloading Microsoft Office for free on up to 5 devices.
