Navigate's upcoming Marketing and Sales Bootcamp aims to help businesspeople determine the value of their businesses to consumers and to use this value to boost to marketing and sales results.
Navigate, a partnership of Grenfell Campus and the Corner Brook Campus of the College of the North Atlantic, is an entrepreneurship centre, including a makerspace and business incubator.
The bootcamp is suitable for all levels of experience from seasoned entrepreneurs to start-ups to aspiring businesspeople.
"Whether a participant has been in the game awhile and needs a fresh perspective, or has an idea but isn't sure of where to go next, this bootcamp will have something for everyone," said Dr. Billy Newell, manager of Navigate's Business Incubator.
The bootcamp will take place in six modules over six weeks, led by experienced industry experts. Starting with building the value proposition, the bootcamp will walk participants through different marketing channels, and help them create an agile marketing plan to help further validate ideas and get customers. It also focuses on personal selling skills, LEAN analytics, and finishes off with a fun business-pitch event.
Participants who attend every component will receive a guaranteed marketing consulting subsidy of $1000, with an extra $1000 going to the winning pitch.
The course runs for six Tuesdays, 5-9:30 p.m., beginning May 14.
