Research interests/expertise
A professional director, Todd has directed for Rising Tide Theatre; RCA Theatre Company; Theatre Newfoundland Labrador; the Stephenville Theatre Festival; the provincial Arts and Culture Centres; C2C Theatre; and Hard Ticket Theatre.
An interest in new play development saw the inaugural Cultivate event in Bonne Bay with writer Rory Lambert. Previous dramaturgy includes work with Des Walsh (The Words That Make the Wounded Free, Garland House, Johnny August and The Queen of Swansea), Joan Sullivan (Rose Hoskins), and Gordon Pinsent (Corner Green).
Teaching
Teaching includes, Theatre 1000/1001 (Intro to Theatre History), Theatre 4040 (Directed Studies), Theatre 4001 (Institute at Harlow), as well as acting and production at all levels.
