Once applicants have been approved for entrance to Grenfell Campus Memorial University they will be contacted to arrange an audition/interview time. Once a time has been agreed upon a link will be sent to each applicant.
Apply to the theatre program
Complete the university's application for general admission/readmission. All supporting documents including your official transcripts for the general admission/readmission application should be mailed directly to the Office of the Registrar.

As part of your application for general admission/readmission, students applying to the theatre program must select thier stream (acting/technical theatre production), prepare a personal statement explaining your reasons for wanting to study theatre at Grenfell Campus, as well as a summary of your theatre training and/or experience.
Applications submitted by February 1 will be reviewed and considered for priority acceptance. March 1 is the regular application deadline for the following fall semester. Late applications will be considered as time and resources permit.
Prepare for your audition/interview. In addition to your application to Memorial University, you must also undergo an audition/interview. If you are auditioning for the acting stream, please prepare a monologue, no longer than 3-minutes in length, from a contemporary play.

Note: students graduating (or having graduated) from a high school with a fine arts focus, or an arts-based high school are encouraged to call our Fine Arts Office for guidance in your application. Some Memorial course admission requirements can be waived or substituted. Call 709-637-6223.
