Intensive English Bridge Program

English as a Second Language

Note: Memorial University plans to proceed with in-person delivery for the Fall 2021 semester. More information on that decision can be found here. Students should be aware, however, that their involvement in the Intensive English Bridge Program at Grenfell may involve a combination of in-person and remote instruction.

Why Choose the Intensive English Bridge Program at Grenfell?

  • Benefit from tutorials, small group discussion sessions, culture and society classes, and courses focused on improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Benefit from personalized instruction in classes that cap at 18 students and regular interactions with their teachers.
  • Have access to all of Grenfell’s facilities including on-campus housing, library, sports facilities, and student support services.

Intensive English Bridge Program

The Intensive English Bridge Program at Grenfell Campus allows students to earn credit and meet the language proficiency requirements for final admission to undergraduate study.

The Intensive English Bridge Program at Grenfell (IEBP-G) is designed to prepare students for the language demands of undergraduate courses and university life. There are two levels of study within the IEBP-G: Level 1 and Level 2.

Please click here for more information about minimum proficiency requirements. Applications for the Fall 2021 semester are currently being accepted. Click here to apply.
