Kayaking for Nature Lovers Tours

For active families interested in ocean life, we offer a nature paddle and aquarium tour in partnership with our friends at Gros Morne Adventures.

The 2-hour long tour is led by one of our marine education interpreters equipped with a dipnet, along with a specialist kayak guide. The tour leaves from Gros Morne Adventures on the Norris Point waterfront and will take you out on the bay to learn about the unique marine ecology and unusual geology of Bonne Bay. Bald eagles, belted kingfishers, common and arctic terns, and minke whales are common sightings on this tour!

The tour includes a visit to our Public Aquarium where your guide will show you an even closer look at some of the sea-life that lives beneath the waves of Bonne Bay.
