Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity
Aging in Newfoundland and Labrador
The Aging Research Centre – Newfoundland and Labrador (ARC-NL) is now inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship: Aging in Newfoundland and Labrador. This is a two-year, fully funded post-doctoral fellowship to investigate topics related to older adults in Newfoundland and Labrador. While the research question is open, it should be related to one of the following issues within a Newfoundland and Labrador context: aging in place, age-friendly communities, labour force participation among older adults, socio-economics of aging, social isolation, rurality, technology use by older adults, elder abuse, or aging in indigenous populations. Previous research experience in any of these areas would be considered an asset.
The salary is $45,000/year plus benefits and there is a possibility of term being renewed after the two years. The position is for an initial term of two years, with the possibility of renewal. This competition will remain open until the position is filled. Review of applications will begin on April 17, 2021.
