ARC-NL Advisory Council
ARC-NL has an Advisory Council comprised of community members and representatives from stakeholder organizations to ensure our activities and initiatives are appropriate as a research centre and relevant to older adults of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The mandate of the Advisory Council is to:
- Help connect ARC-NL and its community stakeholders and to ensure equitable regional representation
- Help the Core Leadership Team develop effective community outreach activities
- Advise the Core Leadership Team on possible external funding opportunities
- Provide input from stakeholders about ARC-NL’s priorities and activities
The Advisory Council meets twice a year.
The Advisory Council will consist of 8-12 members and the current members of the Advisory Council are: (coming soon)
Indigenous Representative from Labrador needed
ARC-NL is actively recruiting an Indigenous representative from Labrador to serve as a member of council. The council meets twice per year for 1-2 hours each. We anticipate the time commitment involved is approximately 10-15 hours annually. If you are interested in serving on this council, please contact us at arc@grenfell.mun.ca.
